Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) or Waka Waka (Esto es África) is a song by the Colombian singer Shakira that was released on May 7, 2010. The music video has so far reached 2.5 billion views on YouTube and is the Colombian singer's second most watched music video.

There is an English and a Spanish version of the song. In both versions the chorus is catchy . It comes from the song "Zangalewa" by the Cameroonian band Golden Sounds , which was released in 1986. It is still widely used as a soldier's song in many parts of Africa.

On April 26, 2010, Shakira announced on her official website that she and the South African group Freshlyground had recorded the official song for the 2010 World Cup , Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) .
