style

The album contains Shakira's usual mix of styles. La Tortura , in particular, contains Latin elements, which made it a summer hit in 2005. There is also pop rock , which is reminiscent of the music of the 1980s, and punk rock influences. Las De La Intuición , on the other hand, is stylistically assigned to Eurodisco music. In addition, the song Obtener Un Si resembles a French chanson .

Texts

The text of Lo Imprescindible is a specialty ; it contains the German lines “Bleib Baby, Bleib Baby / Don't go away again” . Es tus Pupilas also begins in French . With these two exceptions, the lyrics of every song on the album are entirely in Spanish.
