Kerry-Anne Saxby-Junna (born Saxby ; born June 2, 1961 in Ballina ) is a former Australian walker . From the late 1980s to the end of her career in 2001, she was among the world's best in walking and is one of the most successful Australian athletes in history.

She celebrated her first major international success at the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 by winning the silver medal in 10 km walking behind Irina Strachowa . In 1989 Saxby won the 3000 m title at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Budapest and came second over 10 km at the Walker World Cup in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat .

After her victory at the Commonwealth Games in 1990 in Auckland in 10 km walking, she was second behind Beate Anders in 1991 over 3000 m at the Indoor World Championships in Seville and fifth over 10 km at the World Championships in Tokyo . In her first Olympic participation in 1992 in Barcelona , she finished fifteenth in the 10 km walk.

In 1993 in Toronto she was second again at the Indoor World Championships over 3000 m, this time behind Jelena Nikolajewa . In 1994, she defended her 10K walking title at the Commonwealth Games in Victoria . Over the same distance she reached ninth place at the 1995 World Athletics Championships in Gothenburg and twelfth place at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.

After taking a baby break in 1997, she returned the following year by winning the silver medal in 10km walking at the Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur . Her compatriot Jane Saville prevented her third title win in a row . At the 1999 World Athletics Championships in Seville, she won the bronze medal in the 20 km walk behind the Chinese Liu Hongyu and Wang Yan . Saxby-Junna was the oldest medalist in Seville at 38.

In Sydney, she finished seventh at the 2000 Olympic Games over 20 km. At the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton, she did not reach the goal because of disqualification and then ended her active career.

In the course of her career, Kerry Saxby-Junna collected a total of almost 30 Australian championship titles over various distances and set numerous world records and world best performances. She is 1.63 m tall and weighed 57 kg during her active time.
