Kerstin Celina (born May 29, 1968 in Würzburg ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ). She has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since the state elections in Bavaria in 2013 , where she is the spokesperson for social policy, inclusion and mental health within her parliamentary group.

Career

After completing primary school, she attended the Deutschhaus-Gymnasium in Würzburg , where she passed her Abitur in 1987 . She then studied economics at the Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg and received a full scholarship for a year abroad at Davidson College in North Carolina in 1990/91 . In the course of a parallel, four-semester additional course, she acquired the language certificates "Russicum" and "Hispanicum". In 1993 she completed her studies with a degree in economics .

Her professional career began as a trainee and Government Councilor in the Senate of Berlin. This was followed by a move to the Federal Employment Agency , where Celina was head of the administration department at the Employment Agency in Brühl (North Rhine-Westphalia) and, after her education, as a part-time personnel consultant at the Employment Agency in Würzburg.

Celina has been a member of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen since 1995. Since 2002 she has been a member of the district council of the Würzburg district and since 2008 a councilor in Kürnach . In the 2013 state elections , she entered the Bavarian state parliament via the list in the Lower Franconia constituency . There her main topics were labor market and social policy as well as health and care.

For the Bavarian state elections in 2018 , she again entered the Bavarian state parliament via the list in the constituency of Lower Franconia. Here she sits on the Committee on Health and Care and the Committee on Labor and Social Affairs, Youth and Family.

In addition, she volunteers as a first responder as well as a firefighter at the volunteer fire brigade Kürnach, as a member of the local group Kürnach-Estenfeld-Prosselsheim of the Bund Naturschutz , as a member of Greenpeace and the German Alpine Association , as an advisory member in the diocese family council of the diocese of Würzburg , as an advisory Member of the state Board of InVia and the development association Castle Mainberg eV she was eight years as too juror active and three years parents' council chairman at the elementary school in Kürnach.

Private

Kerstin Celina is Evangelical Lutheran , married to a mathematician and mother of two daughters (* 2000 and * 2002). She lives with her family in Kürnach .
