Kerteminde Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the communal center of Kerteminde on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Bjerge Herred in what was then Odense Amt , then to Kerteminde Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into the "new" Kerteminde Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 . On December 1, 2013, it was merged with the neighboring municipality of Drigstrup Sogn to form Kerteminde-Drigstrup Sogn . This only relates to church issues. In its capacity as Matrikelsogne , i.e. as land register districts of the cadastral authority Geodatastyrelsen , such changes have not had any effect since the abolition of the Harden structure in 1970.
On January 1, 2013, 4242 of the then 5880 inhabitants of Kerteminde lived in the parish of the same name. In the parish was the church “Sankt Laurenti Kirke”.
Neighboring communities were Mesinge Sogn in the north, Viby Sogn in the northeast , Revninge Sogn in the south and Drigstrup Sogn in the west .
