Keven Stammen (born November 15, 1985 in Coldwater , Ohio ) is a professional American poker player .

Personal

Stammen grew up in his native town Coldwater and attended Coldwater High School there.

Poker career

Stammen has been playing poker since he was 16 and has been playing cards professionally since he was 18. He started playing cash games at casinos in Windsor, Canada . Stammen plays online under the nicknames Stammdogg ( PokerStars ) , Stamdogg ( Full Tilt Poker , partypoker and Bodog) and Stamdogg3 (Absolute Poker and UltimateBet ) . At the beginning of 2011, he was temporarily in third place in the PocketFives ranking, which lists the most successful online poker tournament players worldwide. By May 2016, Stammen had earned more than six million US dollars with online tournament poker . Since 2006 he has also participated in renowned live tournaments .

Stammen was the beginning of June 2007 for the first time at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas successful and occurred in two tournaments of the variant No-Limit Hold'em in the money. During the tournament series, he took second place at a deep stack event at the Venetian Resort Hotel, endowed with around 45,000 US dollars. A few weeks later, Stammen won the main event of the Hollywood Poker Open at the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas with a prize of just under 350,000 US dollars. In mid-February 2018, he secured victory at the main event of the WSOP circuit in Milwaukee and received a gold ring and the main prize of just under 200,000 US dollars.

In total, Stammen has earned more than six million US dollars with poker in live tournaments.
