Kevin John Berry (born April 10, 1945 in Sydney , † December 7, 2006 ) was an Australian swimmer .

Life

He was Olympic champion in the 200 m butterfly at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964 and won the bronze medal with the Australian 4 × 100 m individual relay relay . In his career he set twelve world records . After his career, he became a sports journalist and worked for the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) .

In 1980 he was inducted into the international swimming sports hall of fame .
