Jon Scott Seven (born August 24, 1966 in Brisbane ) is a former Australian swimmer .

In contrast to the outstanding swimmer of his time, the German Michael Groß with a height of 2.00 meters, Sieben is only 1.73 meters tall. He had his most successful moments in the Olympic Games in 1984 in Los Angeles , Olympic champion when he was a complete surprise and the 200m butterfly while still a new world record set up by improved his own personal best by more than a second. The favorites Michael Groß and Pablo Morales were left behind.

In the subsequent games, Jon Sieben could no longer qualify for this route in the Australian team.
