Kevin Bryan

Kevin Bryan ( 1965 - November 15, 2018 ) was an American jazz musician ( trumpet ).

Bryan moved to New York at a young age to work in the local music scene. The first recordings were made in 1998 with Wayne Gorbea y Salsa Picante ; In the next few years he recorded several albums with the bands of Tito Puente , Frankie Negrón and the Latin Giants of Jazz . In 2006 he played with Michael Treni & The Jazz Composer's Workshop Orchestra ( Detour ). He also worked as a session musician a. a. with Norah Jones , Harry Connick Jr. ( In Concert On Broadway , 2010), Patti LaBelle , Levon Helm , Dave Douglas , Celia Cruz , James Moody , Macy Gray , David Murray , Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars, Paquito D'Rivera , kd Lang , Patti Austin , Frankie Valli , Bebo Valdes and Cleo Laine . As a solo trumpeter, he was most recently a member of the Duke Ellington Orchestra ( Ghost Band ), the Bobby Sanabria Big Band, Travis Sullivan's Björkestra and the Mambo Legends Orchestra; he also played in theaters on Broadway . Tom Lord lists him in his discography with 13 recording sessions (only between 2006 and 2017).
