Kevin Pauwels (born April 12, 1984 in Ekeren ) is a Belgian cyclocross and mountain bike rider. In February 2019, he announced that he was leaving racing.

Pauwels mainly devoted himself to cyclocross . In 2002 in Zolder he became World Cross Country Champion in the junior class. Two later he became world champion again, this time in the U23 class. In the elite class he took third place in the world championships in 2012 and 2014. By the end of 2015, he had won a total of eleven World Cup races .

Pauwels also won various competitions on the international calendar on the street . He was also the Belgian mountain bike champion in cross country in 2011 and 2012 .

His older brother Tim Pauwels was also a cyclocross rider and died in 2004 in a race in Erpe-Mere from a fall caused by a cardiac vein rupture.
