Kevin Linford Stewart (born September 7, 1993 in Enfield , London ) is an English football player . The full-back and midfielder was trained at Tottenham Hotspur and played at Liverpool FC from 2014 to 2017 . In the summer of 2017, he moved to Hull City .

Athletic career

Stewart was born in London and joined Tottenham Hotspur Football Academy in July 2010 . The sporting breakthrough was denied to him and with the exception of a short loan period at Crewe Alexandra from March 2013, the young full-back and midfielder did not initially make a professional appearance. He finally moved to Liverpool in June 2014 , fulfilling a childhood dream as he had been a supporter of the club since he was a child. At Liverpool FC he was part of the U-21 squad for the 2014/15 season; In January 2015 he gained further practical experience for a month at the fourth division club Cheltenham Town . In late March 2015, he moved on to Burton Albion . There he contributed with the winning goal on the last match day against Cambridge United (3-2) to win the fourth division championship. In July 2015, Liverpool FC loaned him again, with Stewart spending a full year with third division club Swindon Town . However, he was brought back in January 2016 after the personal situation in Liverpool had worsened due to injuries. In the game against Exeter City (2-2) he made his FA Cup debut shortly afterwards . Under the new coach Jürgen Klopp he was used more often. In February 2016, Stewart extended his contract term in Liverpool to 2020.

In the summer transfer window, Stewart moved to the relegated Premier League Hull City with a three-year contract .
