Kevin Wong (born September 12, 1972 in Honolulu , USA ) is an American beach volleyball player .

Career

Kevin Wong has been playing on the US AVP Tour since 1995 and on the FIVB World Tour internationally . He changed his partners every year. At the side of Robert Heidger he took part in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and was eliminated in the quarterfinals against the gold medalists Blanton / Fonoimoana . With Stein Metzger he won the Open tournament in Gstaad in 2001 and the Open tournament in Espinho in 2002 . In 2007 he was Karch Kiraly's last year as a partner. With Casey Jennings he was victorious in 2010 at the Open tournament in The Hague . Wong participated in six world championships ( 1999 , 2001 , 2003 , 2005 , 2007 and 2011 ). His best World Cup placement was a seventh place in 1999 with Robert Heidger.
