reception

In the first week around 6,000 units of the album were sold in the USA. It surpassed all of its predecessors.

The album was largely approved of by the press. Thorsten Zahn from Metal Hammer praised the mix of styles, which is evident in aggressive death metal pieces, instrumental pieces and rock sequences. Metal Injection's Jeremy Ulrey also praised the diversity of the songs. Vocally, however, this variation leaves a lot to be desired.
