Sharlee D'Angelo (born April 27, 1973 , real name: Charles Petter Andreason) is a Swedish bass player . He is a member of several bands including Arch Enemy , The Night Flight Orchestra and Witchery .

Career

D'Angelo began his career in King Diamond's band in 1990 , replacing Hal Patino. With King Diamond, however, D'Angelo had no publications. From 1993 to 1999 he played in the reunited band Mercyful Fate , with whom he released four studio albums. In 1997 D'Angelo was one of the founding members of the thrash / speed metal band Witchery and the heavy metal band Sinergy . In the latter band he played together with guitarists Alexi Laiho (then Children of Bodom ) and Jesper Strömblad (then In Flames ). However, he left Sinergy after the debut album.

In 1999 D'Angelo joined the melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. The band has been nominated three times for the Swedish Grammis music award. In 2016 he founded the Black Earth project with some former Arch Enemy members . D'Angelo has played in the stoner rock band Spiritual Beggars since 2005 . In 2012 he founded a. a. with Soilwork members Björn Strid and David Andersson the AOR band The Night Flight Orchestra. With this band, D'Angelo released five studio albums and received two Grammis nominations.
