Further mixes came from Armand Van Helden and Masters at Work . The track from the debut album Higher Things reached number 35 on the UK charts .

Other releases that made it into the British charts are Time for Love (48th place in 1995) and Supernatural (50th place in 1997). Time for Love , written by Burke and Stingily and not featured on the album, also climbed into the UK charts in 1995 (number 52). Supernatural also rose to number 5 in the US dance charts in 1997, Learn 2 Luv came there a little later to number 4, and the title song of the album Higher Things reached number 2 in 2000.

From 1999 to 2007 a total of eight tracks by the singer rose to number 1 on the Billboard Dance Charts: Unspeakable Joy (1999), Missing You (2000), Bumpin 'and Jumpin' and Everyday (both 2001), Treat Me Right (2002), It Makes a Difference and C'est la vie (both 2006) and My Destiny (2007).
