Kim Lankford (born June 14, 1962 in Montebello , California ) is an American actress .
biography
Kim Lankford grew up in Orange County as the daughter of a human resources director and a soprano . After graduating from high school, she started her acting career at the "Circle Theater" in San Francisco , where she starred in the productions of "The Sound of Music", "Peter Pan" and "The Music Man". Then she got a permanent engagement as an artist for the stage show of the Southern California theme park "Knott's Berry Farm". This was followed by guest appearances in television series such as Love Boat , Police Woman , Hunter and Fantasy Island . Due to their involvement in the television series The Waverly Wonders 1978 she was offered the role of Ginger Ward in " Dallas " -Spinoff Knots Landing represent. This gave her her international breakthrough and a broader reputation as an actress. In addition, Kim Lankford was able to show her talent as a singer here. In her private life, Kim Lankford was in a relationship with rock singer Warren Zevon and has now largely withdrawn from the acting business.
