Richard Kim Milford (born February 7, 1951 in Glen Ridge , New Jersey , † June 16, 1988 in Chicago , Illinois ) was an American actor .

Life

Milford grew up in Winnetka , Illinois as the younger brother of actress Penelope Milford . As a teenager, he was on the Broadway stage in 1967 . Between 1968 and 1972 he played in the original production of the musical Hair . As a result, he received a recording contract with Decca Records and recorded a single , which, however, was not a commercial success. In 1972 Milford was briefly the singer of the band Beck, Bogert & Appice . After only six live performances, however, he was dismissed by Jeff Beck immediately following a performance in Chicago. In 1975 he was seen for a few weeks as Rocky in the US original production of The Rocky Horror Show .

Milford made his television debut in 1971 in an episode of the series Twen Police . It was followed by several other television appearances until 1978, the main role in the low-budget - science fiction film military - death rays from space received. That same year, Milford starred alongside Mark Hamill and Annie Potts in the comedy Two Hot Guys on the Highway .
