Kim Oszvald-Renkema (born June 28, 1987 in Hoogeveen as Kim Renkema ) is a Dutch volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Renkema began her career in the hall at Olhaco Hoogeveen. She then played in the Netherlands for DOK Dwingeloo , AMVJ Amstelveen , VC Rijnmond and Longa 59 Lichtenvoorde . In 2010 the outside attacker moved from VC Weert to the German Bundesliga club Smart Allianz Stuttgart . With her new club, she won the DVV Cup in 2011 . In 2012 Renkema moved to Italy to join Riso Scotti Volley Pavia . In 2014 she returned to Allianz MTV Stuttgart , with whom she again won the German Cup in 2015. On March 14, 2017 it became known that Renkema had to end his active volleyball career due to physical ailments. She moved to the management of Allianz MTV Stuttgart as sports director.

Career Beach

In 2005 Renkema began a parallel career as a beach volleyball player. She played in various European tournaments and had some appearances in the world series. In 2008 she took part in the European Championships in Hamburg with her partner Margo Wiltens . There the Dutch duo lost to the Germans Pohl / Rau in the first main round and were eliminated in the second losing round against their compatriots Holtwick / Semmler . Since Renkema could no longer cope with the double burden, she ended her career in the sand in 2010.

Private

On July 7, 2019, Renkema married her long-term partner in Loosdrecht, the Netherlands .
