Kimberley Joseph (born August 30, 1973 in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada ) is an Australian actress of Canadian origin, who became known for supporting roles in numerous television series.

biography

Three years after she was born, Kimberley Joseph's parents moved her to Gold Coast , Australia , where she grew up. She completed the last four years of her schooling at the private St. George's School in Montreux , Switzerland . After studying at the private Bond University near Gold Coast, she dropped out in favor of a career as an actress in her senior year. She also worked as a photo model .

In 1993 she appeared in the Australian television series Paradise Beach . In 1995 she co-hosted the Australian edition of the game show Gladiators . In 1996, Kimberley Joseph had a role in the Australian soap opera Home and Away . In 1997 and 1999 she was seen in two episodes of the US series Hercules as " Nemesis ".

She then took acting classes at the American Theater School in New York City . From 2001 she played in the British television series Cold Feet , in 2004 in seven episodes of the Australian medical series All Saints . From 2004 she appeared in several episodes of the successful American series Lost as a surviving stewardess.

In 2003 she was a member of a group led by the Scottish MEP Struan Stevenson, which informed herself in Kazakhstan about the health consequences of the Soviet nuclear weapon tests on the residents of the vicinity of the Semipalatinsk test site and distributed aid money. The photo documentation made by Kimberley Joseph and Struan Stevenson as part of the trip was exhibited in 2004 in the Scottish Parliament , the European Parliament Building in Brussels , the Capitol in Washington , the British Parliament and the Kazakh Parliament in Astana . In 2006 a book by Stevenson on the Semei region ( Crying Forever: A Nuclear Diary ), illustrated with photographs by Kimberley Joseph, was published , the proceeds of which will benefit the victims of radiation.
