The Kirchberg is a mountain in the north-western Odenwald, west of Trautheim .
description
The 280.9-meter-high mountain in the forest district Mühltal is heavily wooded. The B 449 ("Odenwaldstraße") runs along the northern edge . The Kirchbergteich is located on the northwest slope . Lindenberg is located south of the Kirchberg . There is a radio mast on the summit .

etymology
Old High German kirs , kirsa and Middle High German kerse , kirse , kirsche with the meaning of cherry . Plots and paths planted with cherry trees gave it its name.
