The Kirchdorfer Group is a privately owned international building materials manufacturer based in Kirchdorf / Upper Austria, which is active in the sectors of cement , raw materials (stone, sand, gravel, ready- mix concrete ) and precast concrete parts . Starting from the main plant in Kirchdorf, which was founded as a cement plant in 1888, the diversified group today generates annual sales of over 250 million euros in 13 countries.

It all began in 1888 with a cement plant in Kirchdorf in Upper Austria. Today the Kirchdorfer Group is an international group of companies that is represented with its own companies and majority holdings in 13 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. In addition, there are connections to a further 20 nations on all continents of the world through license agreements.

Kirchdorfer Industries goes back to the Kirchdorf cement works founded by Adolf Hofmann and Emil Dierzer in 1888. One reason for the settlement there was the better utilization of the wing railway line in the Upper Austrian Kremstal .

In 1983 the company started to expand with the acquisition of the traditional “Brevillier-Urban Schreibwarenfabrik GmbH” in Graz, a branch of Brevillier & Co. and A. Urban & Sons . The well-known brand Jolly got a future again. The driving force behind this investment was Max 1. Machanek. In order to concentrate on its core competence in cement and concrete in the future, the “Kirchdorfer Group” parted with the traditional brand almost a quarter of a century after the acquisition.

1984 was MABA assumed that since quality to a recognized producer precast concrete products for the rail , construction and civil engineering was developed.

Expansion in Eastern Europe began in 1992 with the acquisition of the South Bohemian company Kámen a písek , including its quarries . After the precast concrete plant in Veselí nad Lužnicí in the Czech Republic was taken over in 1996 , the group also became the market leader in the field of precast concrete elements in the Czech Republic.

In 1998 the group of companies entered the prefabricated house segment and founded MABA Fertighaus GmbH .

In 1999, the company was ČR concrete Bohemia founded which mix concrete production facilities at ten locations in Southern Bohemia. In the same year, a gravel plant in Babót near Sopron ( Hungary ) was taken over, which now operates as Kő és Homok Kavicsfeldolgozó Kft. And produces high-quality aggregates for the markets in Hungary and Austria.

In 2000 the Kirchdorfer Group took over 50% of the Styrian RAUTER Fertigteilbau GmbH , which is based in Niederwölz. The company has been 100% owned by the Kirchdorfer Group since 2015 and produces, delivers and assembles precast concrete parts throughout Austria.

In 2004, 75% of the shares in the company Eurobeton in the Czech Republic were taken over, which has been trading as Eurobeton MABA sro since then . This company produces concrete pipes , sewer components, manholes and other products for road and surface drainage . The Kirchdorfer Group currently holds 90% of MABA Eurobeton sro

With the complete acquisition of the Bauer concrete works in Styria, the group of companies bundled its production segments and founded the subsidiaries TIBA Holding GmbH in Lebring and TIBA AUSTRIA GmbH in St. Margarethen an der Raab –Kroisbach. The company founded in 2005 (TIBA AUSTRIA GmbH) has been 74% owned by the Kirchdorfer Group since 2014.

In 2006, the company founded the German sales company DELTA BLOC Deutschland GmbH , based in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate, and expanded it in the following years to include DELTA BLOC Nederland BV in the Netherlands and DELTA BLOC France SAS in France .

In May 2010 the company H. Katzenberger Beton- und Fertigteilwerke GmbH in Gerasdorf near Vienna was taken over.

In January 2011, Alfuma was founded another 100% subsidiary, which is active in the sale of alternative raw materials and fuels.

In 2012, the new administrative headquarters were opened in Wöllersdorf near Wiener Neustadt on the site of the historic fireworks facility . Behind the white facade, several storey ceilings 150 workplaces were drawn.

In autumn 2017 Kirchdorfer Industries took over the majority in the Styrian prefabricated cellar specialist KAMMEL Austria GmbH.

In 2019 the Kirchdorfer Group is expanding its portfolio with the "Road & Traffic" division. The new division mainly covers the areas of passive road safety and noise protection.

To date, the diversified group with 52 companies and around 1,800 employees is internationally active.
