history

The appointment of a pastor to the parish church in Tellyn is recorded in 1493 . In the Middle Ages the Telliner Church was an independent parish church, after the Reformation was introduced in Pomerania it became a branch of the Daberkow Church . The church patronage went to the estate Broock .

After a period as an independent parish, the Alt Telliner Church was joined to the Daberkow parish in 2005. The responsible parish office is in Hohenmocker .

Buildings and equipment

The hall church was built from field stone around 1600 . To the east, the building, which is now plastered, is finished in a semicircle. The windows are relatively small and high. The windows and the south portal are closed off with basket arches . To the left of the south portal is a barred former saint niche. The west portal is in a wall template. The younger roof tower on the west gable is built in half-timbered construction and faced with boards. It wears a baroque top with an openwork lantern and is 25 meters high.

The interior of the church has a flat roof. A sacrament niche closed with a wooden door is let into the east wall. Below the church there is a crypt belonging to the von Linden family . Major general and church patron Christian Bogislaw von Linden (1707–1773) and his two wives were buried there. Two of the three coffins have been preserved.

The simple pulpit altar dates from the 18th century . A polygonal pulpit with acanthus carvings on the cheeks and putti on the cornice sits on a volute base . The patronage and community chairs as well as the lectern, possibly also the west gallery, were also built in the 18th century. The west gallery was expanded in a horseshoe shape to the north and south on round supports.

The organ with a neo-Gothic prospect and pilasters was built in 1860 in the workshop of A. Fischer from Demmin . In 2002 it was extensively restored.

The chime consists of a bronze bell . It has a minuscule inscription and is dated to 1375.
