The Herges-Hallenberg church is in Herges-Hallenberg , a district of Steinbach-Hallenberg in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district in Thuringia . To the evangelical parish Springstille the church Herges-Hallenberg, simultaneous building with church hall in Bermbach and belonging village church Springstille in the church district Schmalkalden the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck .

The plain plastered half-timbered church has a three-sided final in the East and a verschieferten roof tower on the west side. It was built from 1706 to 1722. In 2013 new altar windows were installed. The nave is covered with a wooden barrel vault. The uniform church furnishings largely come from the time it was built. The capitals of the columns of the two-storey and three-sided galleries are decorated with foliage . The pulpit is carried by a figure of Moses . On its parapet are four evangelists and the Hessian coat of arms displayed. The baptismal font dates from 1746, the organ front from the second half of the 19th century.

The organ with 14 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 2007 by Fischer & Krämer Orgelbau .
