description

The structure of the village church is a largely preserved Romanesque hall church . The current appearance of the church can be traced back to 1768. The masons left this year in the plaster of the window niches. It has a recessed semicircular apse , which is separated from the nave by a triumphal arch . There is a walled-up arched window from the time it was built and a window in a curtain arch from the early 16th century. In the east there is a slate roof tower with a pyramid roof .

Two bells hang in the tower's wooden belfry . The larger one was cast in 1400 and bears the inscription "Ave Maria gracia plena dominus tecum - Hail, gracious Mary, the Lord is with you". There is no dedication on the smaller one.

The positive with a baroque carving on all sides stands free on the gallery . It has 5 registers and was built in the 18th century by an unknown organ builder . The Rösel & Hercher Orgelbau workshop has restored it in accordance with its heritage.

In the 1990s the church was extensively renovated. The surrounding gallery , the church furnishings with the pulpit high above the late Gothic altar and the ceiling received their original flower painting in the peasant baroque .
