description

In the hall church of the Romanesque core , the choir tower and the church furnishings had to be renewed in 1723 after the great fire in the village . The choir tower was raised by two octagonal storeys . Above it sit two bellied , slate-covered hoods connected by an intermediate piece . A semicircular apse with an apse dome adjoins the choir tower .

From 1887–1890 colored windows were installed in the choir . The interior of the nave , which is covered with a gable roof , has a ceiling split lengthways with a stucco frame . The pulpit altar , erected around 1724, was lost except for the pulpit. The organ in the classicist prospectus has 10 stops , divided into a manual and a pedal . It was built by Christian Ernst Friederici around 1780 .
