description

The stately hall church was built in the neo-Gothic style in 1901–1902 based on a design by Karl Behlert . In 1898 a major fire destroyed the previous building, which was erected in place of the first church, which was destroyed along with the entire village in the Thirty Years' War in 1634 . The church tower is covered by an eight-sided, pointed helmet , which is framed by four stone gables . The tower stands at the southeast corner of the nave , the lower floors of which, like the nave itself, are supported by buttresses .

The interior with its gallery is spanned by a barrel vault. The organ is on the west gallery. The choir is characterized by three lead glass windows . The middle window shows the inviting Jesus Christ . On the other windows on the left the lamb of God with the flag of victory, on the right a cup of communion .
