The ecclesiastical province of Campobasso-Boiano is one of the four ecclesiastical provinces of the ecclesiastical region of Abruzzo-Molise of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy .

history

The diocese of Boiano was founded in the 11th century and was a suffragan of Benevento . On June 29, 1927, the diocese of Boiano changed its name to Boiano-Campobasso and was raised as such on February 11, 1973 to the archbishopric with three suffragan dioceses.
