The kkStB series of tenders 56 was a series of tenders operated by the kk state railways (kkStB).

The kkStB procured these tenders for its locomotives from 1894 . They were supplied by the Floridsdorf locomotive factory , the Wiener Neustädter Lokomotivfabrik , Ringhoffer in Prague -Smichov, the StEG locomotive factory and the Bohemian-Moravian Machine Factory . Individual copies came from the Kasimir Lipiński machine and wagon factory in Sanok and from the Bromovský, Schulz & Sohn machine factory in Königgrätz .

Because of its large number, it was one of the standard tenders of the kkStB.

In 1908 the kkStB had a tender built for the new 210 .01 at the Floridsdorf locomotive factory , which it designated as 57.01 . In 1910 it was renumbered 56,342 because it differed from the tenders in this series only in its lower curb weight of 15.5 t.
