Klaas Huebner

Klaas Huebner (born May 16, 1967 in Bad Harzburg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and entrepreneur .

From 2007 to 2009 he was deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group . Since September 21, 2010 he has been the spokesman for the Friedrich Ebert Foundation's management group .

He is an economic advisor to SPD leader Sigmar Gabriel .

Life and work

After graduating from high school in 1986, Hübner completed an apprenticeship as a banker at the Bank für Gemeinwirtschaft , which he completed in 1988. He then studied culture and economics at the University of Hamburg , but dropped out in 1990. In 1991 he settled in Neugattersleben as an independent entrepreneur .

Klaas Hübner is married and has four children.

Political party

Hübner became a member of the SPD as a schoolboy in 1983. From October 2004 to 2006 he was deputy state chairman of the SPD in Saxony-Anhalt .

MP

Hübner was a member of the German Bundestag from 2002 to 2009 . Since December 2005 he has been a member of the extended executive committee of the SPD parliamentary group. Since March 20, 2007, he has been deputy chairman of the SPD parliamentary group responsible for the areas of transport, construction and urban development, construction in the East, and petitions. Hübner is one of the spokespersons for the Seeheimer Kreis .

Klaas Hübner always moved into the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency of Bernburg - Bitterfeld - Saalkreis . In the 2005 Bundestag election , he achieved 36.1% of the first votes .

Hübner failed in the Bundestag election 2009 on September 27th in the Bundestag constituency of Anhalt (constituency 72) in the fight for the direct mandate with 21.8% of the first votes. Since he was not secured by a place on the state list of the SPD, he left the Bundestag.
