Neugattersleben is a district of the town of Nienburg (Saale) in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt , Germany.

Neugattersleben is located northwest of Bernburg (Saale) on the Bode in the Magdeburger Börde .

history

Neugattersleben was first mentioned in a document in 1164 . The local history is closely linked to Neugattersleben Castle .

On September 30, 1928, the Neugattersleben manor district with the rural community of Hohendorf became the rural community of Neugattersleben-Hohendorf in the district of Calbe a./S. united. On September 12, 1939, the name of the community was changed from Neugattersleben-Hohendorf to Neugattersleben by the President of the Province of Saxony .

On August 26, 2008, the council of the municipality of Neugattersleben decided that the municipality of Neugattersleben should be incorporated into the city of Nienburg (Saale). This contract was approved by the county as the lower local supervisory authority and came into effect on January 1, 2010.

After incorporating the previously independent community of Neugattersleben, Neugattersleben becomes part of the city of Nienburg (Saale). For the incorporated municipality, the local constitution according to §§ 86 ff. Of the municipality code of Saxony-Anhalt is introduced. The incorporated community of Neugattersleben and the future district of Neugattersleben will become the locality of the receiving city of Nienburg (Saale). A local council with seven members including the local mayor is formed in the incorporated municipality and now the village of Neugattersleben.

The federal road 71 runs from Bernburg (Saale) to Magdeburg directly through the district of Neugattersleben . The federal motorway 14 , which leads from Halle (Saale) to Magdeburg, runs west of Neugattersleben. Neugattersleben station was on the Berlin – Blankenheim railway line (" Kanonenbahn "), which has since been closed.
