Latdorf is located northeast of Bernburg (Saale) on the Saale . The community belongs to the administrative community Nienburg (Saale) , which has its administrative seat in the city ​​of Nienburg (Saale) .

history

Latdorf was first mentioned in 1144 as Lattorp . The place is the ancestral seat of the noble family Lattorff .

On February 19, 2008, the municipal council of the municipality of Latdorf decided that the municipality of Latdorf should be incorporated into the city of Nienburg (Saale) by means of a territorial change agreement. This contract was approved by the county as the lower local supervisory authority and came into effect on January 1, 2010.

After incorporating the previously independent municipality of Latdorf, Latdorf becomes part of the city of Nienburg (Saale).
