Jaws theater

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Klappmaul Theater (the name is derived from the term `` Klappmaul '' puppets and figures) was a free theater group (touring) and performed in kindergartens, schools and public institutions as well as on the stages of many city, state and state theaters from 1975 to 2005 the entire German-speaking area (including Austria and Switzerland). In 2000 the ensemble performed at the Expo 2000 . Since the plays appealed to children and adults alike, Klappmaul was often referred to as family theater.

In the 30 years of existence, the artistic direction has always been carried out collectively by the respective shareholders, most recently these were: Michael Kloss , Thomas Korte , Hansgeorg Oskar Mahler (each co-founder of the theater) and Alexander Zipser-Kerin. The ensemble worked with, among others, Sylvain Cambreling , Eva Demski , Bodo Kolbe , Andreas Meyer-Hanno , Peter Mussbach , Annemarie Roelofs , Manfred Roth , Gerhard Schedl , Peter Schönhofer and Hermann Treusch . The Klappmaul Theater was a co-founder and partner of the Frankfurt Theater . The theater group was supported by the Office for Science and Art of the City of Frankfurt and the Hessian Ministry for Science and Art.

On May 27, 2005, the Klappmaul Theater gave its last performance.
