Klaudia Siciarz (born March 15, 1998 ) is a Polish hurdler who specializes in the 100 meter distance .

Athletic career

Klaudia Siciarz played her first competition at international championships at the European Youth Olympic Festival 2013 in Utrecht , where she was eliminated in the preliminary round over 100 meter hurdles. Two years later she reached eighth place at the World Youth Championships in Cali in 13.75 s and again two years later she won the bronze medal at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto in 13.33 s. In 2017 she became the Polish indoor champion over 60 meter hurdles and improved her best there to 8.00 s. This improved the U20 world record of 8.06 s held by Ulrike Denk and Monique Éwanjé-Épée by 6 hundredths of a second. In addition, she qualified for the first time for the European Championships in Berlin , where she was eliminated with 13.12 seconds in the semifinals.

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships 2019 in Glasgow , she also made it to the semi-finals in the 60-meter hurdles and was eliminated there with 8.14 seconds. Then she won the silver medal at the U23 European Championships in Gävle in 12.82 s and only had to admit defeat to Belarusian Elwira Herman . In addition, she won the bronze medal behind the teams from Germany and France with the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay in 44.08 seconds.

In 2018 Siciarz became Polish champion in the 100 meter hurdles outdoors and in 2017, 2019 and 2020 indoor champion over 60 m hurdles.
