Klaus-Dieter Dewinski (born August 31, 1950 ) is a former German soccer player. The defensive player played 19 games (1 goal) at VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga between 1972 and 1976 .

Career

Dewinski played as an amateur at TSG Herdecke until the 1971/72 season . When Heinz Höher took over the coaching position at VfL Bochum from the 1972/73 round, the Bundesliga team included the players Hermann Gerland (own youth), goalkeeper Werner Scholz (Alemannia Aachen), Michael Lameck and Reinhard Majgl (both from SW Essen) as well as the previous one Amateur from Herdecke newly signed as a licensed player. Dewinski made his debut on December 15, 1972 in a 2-0 home win against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga. He came on in the 80th minute for Hans-Jürgen Köper . He played his second Bundesliga game on February 23, 1973 on the Bökelberg against Borussia Mönchengladbach. He played defender and experienced a 6-0 home win for the "Fohlen" in their superior class in attack with the tips of Henning Jensen , Bernd Rupp and Jupp Heynckes . He made his third and final appearance on March 17th with a 1-0 away win against the "Zebras" from MSV Duisburg. Dewinski played with VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga for four years . During this time Dewinski was always a supplementary player, he completed 19 games.

For the 1976/77 round he moved to the 2nd Bundesliga and played one season each for the Bonner SC and the Würzburger Kickers . Under coach Martin Luppen (until April 1977) he completed 17 second division games in Bonn when he reached the 16th rank at the side of teammates like Horst Dreher , Eckhard Deterding , Werner Grau , Günter Schwaba , Wolfgang Thier and Ulrich van den Berg . However, the Bonner SC was the first second division club to have its license withdrawn and thus Dewinski joined the Würzburger Kickers in the 1977/78 season.

Under coach Richard Saller , Dewinski was part of the regular staff of the promoted team from the Dallenberg stadium with 32 league appearances . At the side of teammates like Lothar Emmerich and Rainer Scholz, it was only enough for 19th place and the Kickers were relegated to the Bayernliga.
