The Klaus Steilmann Vocational College is a business school in the city of Bochum . Since February 1, 2011 it has been named after the textile entrepreneur and sports patron Klaus Steilmann from Bochum- Wattenscheid , who died in 2009 and who also supported the school during his lifetime. Before that, the school was called "Vocational College of the City of Bochum, Commercial School 2".

This NRW's first and only college for economy with a focus on health economics and management meet the urgent demand for highly skilled workers in a in Bochum growing and all of NRW health industry . In a practical course of study, the college imparts well-founded business knowledge in connection with specialist knowledge in the focus on health economics and management.
