Klaus Göttler
Klaus Göttler (born January 23, 1966 in Reutlingen ) is a German Protestant theologian , General Secretary of the German EC Association , long-time lecturer at the Johanneum Evangelist School , musician and guitarist .
Live and act
Klaus Göttler grew up in Reutlingen. From 1988 to 1991 he studied Protestant theology at the Johanneum . Then he was a youth evangelist at the German EC Association until 2007 , where he was active as a musician and worship leader . In 1998 he became head of its missionary work, became a member of the management and board of directors in 2002 and temporarily held the position of EC Federal Pastor for two years until Rudolf Westerheide was called to this position. On March 15, 2019, he was elected as the new EC Secretary General by the Assembly of Representatives. He took up this office on January 1, 2020.
At the Evangelist School Johanneum in Wuppertal Göttler since 2016 deputy director, since 2008 as a lecturer in practice evangelistic homiletics , community education and youth work , and in this context act as a speaker and evangelist nationwide go.
Göttler has been a member since 1998 and deputy chairman of the ProChrist Association since 2013 , as well as initiator and chairman of JesusHouse and speaker of their events. He is a member of the board of the Christival youth congress , works on a voluntary basis on the board of the Christian Media Foundation and as an employee at the Spring Festival .
Göttler is a guitarist, musician, author and editor of various books and DVDs.

Klaus Göttler lives in Wuppertal with his wife Christiane and their three children .
