reception

" Gs Darst. Alternate between abstraction and exact reproduction of the originals, sometimes the context is concretized by adding text. In a painting that is emphatically flat or recapitulating only lettering, the transition to the abstract is forced. Sometimes the painting remains on a few colors G. deals with topics that often come from marginal areas of attention. His pictorial work turns out to be categorization and cataloging , with critical reflection on the image as a medium for conveying information. "
