Klaus Germann
Klaus Germann (born October 25, 1941 in Saarland ; † November 21, 1983 in Leverkusen ) was a German church musician .
Germann studied school music and church music (organ class Michael Schneider ) at the music colleges and universities in Cologne, Heidelberg and Saarbrücken . He passed the state examination for teaching, the A-examination and the concert examination for organ. He attended master classes with Marie-Claire Alain , Gaston Litaize and Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini . Concert tours have taken him to almost all European countries. I.a. he gave concerts in the cathedrals of Paris , Chartres , Cologne , Vienna and Helsinki . Germann worked as a church musician in the Bielert Church in Leverkusen-Opladen since 1975 . He also taught artistic organ playing at the Cologne University of Music . Klaus Germann was married to a piano teacher and had three children.
