Klaus Hermann

Klaus Hermann (* 1972 in Münster ) is a German insurance salesman and two-time German champion in Taekwondo .

He became known nationwide through his victory at the game show Schlag den Raab in October 2011.

Life

Hermann grew up on Hogenbergstrasse in Berg Fidel and attended the spirit school in the Geistviertel from 1982 to 1988 . In 1987 he played drums in the band Struggle for Power . He later lived and worked in Mesum .

After completing his training as an insurance salesman, Hermann runs Allianz's own insurance agency in Münster. He has also appeared regularly as a comedian and cabaret artist since the early 1990s. In addition to various national championship titles, he won the German Taekwondo championship in 1999 and 2000. He played football at SC Preußen Münster and founded the football club SW Münster 07 in 2007. Hermann published his autobiography That is enough for two in April 2010.

On October 15, 2011, Hermann took part in the game show Schlag den Raab and beat Stefan Raab in the 31st episode of the show in the fight for the jackpot amounting to half a million euros after 14 games. Hermann postponed his honeymoon in order to participate in the game show. He had married his wife a week before the game show. On October 17, 2011, Hermann accepted an invitation to the show TV total . Previously, Hermann took part in Star Search .

Hermann is married and has four children.
