Klaus Isele

Klaus Isele (born December 3, 1960 in Waldshut ) is a German publisher , editor and publicist . He is the founder and owner of Edition Isele .

Life

Klaus Isele studied German, philosophy and English at the universities of Freiburg, Bamberg and Zurich (among others with Adolf Muschg and Hermann Burger ). In 1984 he founded his own publishing house, Edition Isele.

From 1985 to 1986 he worked on the editorial team of the Badische Kulturzeitschrift D'Deyflsgiger , from 1987 to 1989 culture editor at the Badische Zeitung in Waldshut, from 1989 to 1990 editor at the Swiss cultural magazine Dufour and since 1991 self-employed as a publisher, editor and publicist . From 1992 to 1997 Isele was co-editor and editor of the Anglo-American cultural magazine Chelsea Hotel together with Dirk Görtler . From 2015 to 2018 he was the sole editor of the literary magazine "Wort_Zone", and since 2017 the poetry magazine "Last Exit: Poetry".

Klaus Isele has published essays and articles in magazines and anthologies as well as book reviews in daily newspapers and magazines such as Neue Zürcher Zeitung , Badische Latest Nachrichten , Eßlinger Zeitung , Bamberger Tagblatt and Publik-Forum . He is the editor of numerous books.
