Klaus Kada

Klaus Kada (born December 20, 1940 in Leibnitz ) is an Austrian architect .

Life

From 1955 to 1961 Klaus Kada attended the technical college in Graz . The subsequent study of architecture at the TU Graz completed Kada 1971 with the diploma. After working in various architecture offices in Graz and Düsseldorf from 1971 onwards, Kada founded an architecture office in Leibnitz in 1976. A branch in Graz followed in 1988. Together with Gerhard Wittfeld, he founded the architecture office Kadawittfeldarchitektur in Aachen in 1999 .

In 1992 Kada became President of Europan Austria. From 1995 to 2006 he was a university professor at the Faculty of Architecture (designing buildings and building theory) at RWTH Aachen University . The Association of German Architects awarded Kada honorary membership in 1996. He was visiting professor at the University of the Arts Bremen and the Technical University of Munich .
