Klaus Rösch

Klaus Wolfgang Rösch (born October 18, 1945 in Ammerndorf ; † February 18, 2018 ) was a German politician of the FDP , authorized signatory and sports functionary.

Life

Rösch studied business administration in Munich and Nuremberg and graduated with a degree in business administration. In 1961 he joined the FDP. From 1971 to 1982 he was a member of the state board of the FDP Baden-Württemberg , from 1974 to 1980 as deputy state chairman. 1968 to 1971 he was deputy federal chairman of the young democrats and at the same time state chairman of the Baden-Württemberg young democrats.

From 1973 to 1979 he was a member of the district council of the Schwarzwald-Baar district , from 1976 to 1980 a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , from 1980 to 1983 member of the Bundestag and from 1981 to 1983 member of the parliamentary assembly of the Council of Europe . Together with Karl Moersch , Martin Bangemann and Ralf Dahrendorf , Klaus Rösch promoted the left-liberal reorientation of the FDP / DVP Baden-Württemberg from the mid-1960s.

Because of fraud , embezzlement and wrongful Roesch was founded in 2004 to a term of imprisonment sentenced of two years and nine months. Among other things, he had speculated "as chairman of the then second division soccer club BSV 07 Schwenningen [...]". During his time as 1st chairman of BSV 07 Schwenningen (1974-77) he succeeded in the club's rise from the amateur soccer league to the professional league, the 2nd Bundesliga South .
