Klaus Treuheit is a German pianist , composer and improviser . He was born in Eltville am Rhein in 1957 .

Life

Treuheit produced many of his compositions for radio (including for Bayerischer Rundfunk and Radiotelevisione Italiana ). He has published numerous records both as a soloist and with his ensembles . He composed stage and film music , also for Aki Kaurismäki .

He gave concerts in many parts of the world, for example in Brazil , Italy , Spain , France and in the United States , especially in New York City (together with Ed Ware and Hal Onserut ).
