The Klausbach is a partly developed wild brook and main source river of the Ramsauer Ache , the larger part of which runs in the Berchtesgaden National Park and leaves it at the level of the Hintersee .

It rises on the Hirschbichl as Hirschbichlklausgraben , flows through the Klausbachtal between Hochkalterstock and Reiter Alm and joins east of the Hintersee with its overflow, the Sillersbach, to the Ramsauer Ache.
