Right tributaries Weißelbach, Spieser Mühlenbach

The Kleberbach is a right-hand tributary of the Rohrbach . Its catchment area is largely in the district of St. Ingbert , Rohrbach district, but also in the southern part of Spiesen . Its headwaters are located in the state forest northeast of Rohrbach and southeast of Spiesen-Elversberg .

From the right the Kleberbach takes on the water of the Weißelbach and the Spieser Mühlenbach .

The Kleberbach is dammed in the Glashütte pond .

natural reserve

In 1988, around 16 hectares of the Kleberbachtal above the Glashütte pond were placed under nature protection as the Kleberbachtal nature reserve . The protective purpose is named:

“(...) the maintenance, promotion and development of a near-natural brook valley with its waterlogged source zones. This is characterized by a diverse, small-area changing mosaic of the habitats alluvial forest, quarry forest, spring meadows, tall herbaceous meadows, pipe grass meadow and wet meadow. The area offers a large number of rare and endangered animal and plant species their natural habitat. "

In 2017, the Kleberbachtal nature reserve was integrated into the newly created Limbacher and Spieser Wald nature reserve .

At its mouth, the Kleberbach flows through the Im Glashüttental / Rohrbachtal nature reserve .
