Klein-Wien is a small town at the foot of the Göttweiger Berg in the municipality of Furth near Göttweig in the Krems-Land district , Lower Austria .

The name "Klein-Wien" (the spelling fluctuates, together or with a hyphen) indicates church ownership - it is derived from the Old High German "Wihen" (consecration).

  • Filialkirche Klein-Wien : On the mountain slope stands the remarkable St. Blaise Church, surrounded by a small forest cemetery. In January 2004, Romanesque foundations from the 11th century were discovered under the church. The current church was built in Gothic style around 1435 and adorned with the fresco "Christ and the twelve apostles". This fresco was also recently uncovered and restored.

Until December 12, 2015, the Klein-Wien station on the Herzogenburg – Krems line was served by regional trains.
