The Kleine Regen (Czech: Malá Řezná ) is the left and eastern source river of the Black Rain in the Bohemian Forest in Okres Klatovy , Pilsen region in the Czech Republic and Regen district , Bavaria in Germany.
geography
course
The source of the Little Rain is located in the Czech Republic in the Národní park Šumava ( Bohemian Forest National Park ) on Medvedí hora (1224 m) in the Roklanský Les ( Rachel Forest ). The Kleine Regen runs to the northwest, after about one kilometer it crosses the state border to Germany and there it reaches the Bavarian Forest National Park . At the foot of the Großer Rachel , the Kleine Regen flows past the "rain threshold" in the wasteland Schachten and then passes through the Frauenau drinking water reservoir . At the point where the small rain flows into the reservoir, it leaves the national park. In Zwieselau it opens its largest tributary Flanitz to. Accompanied by the forest railway and the 2132 state road, the Kleine Regen flows to Zwiesel . There it unites as a shorter (19 km) and less watery (2.8 m³ / s) spring river with the Great Rain (24 km, 5.2 m³ / s) to form the Black Rain .
