Kleingöttfritz is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Grafenschlag municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria . It is located southwest of Grafenschlag south of the Purzelkamps valley at about 815 meters above sea level on an open area. In the local area there are also the individual layers house mill , Nagelhof and Zwickl mill . The Sindlashof or also called Schweitzerhof was abandoned and torn down in the 1960s.

The place is mentioned in writing for the first time in 1321 as "Gotfriedes" and refers to a local founder named Gottfried. He belonged to the rule Rappottenstein , later to the rule Ottenschlag, after the establishment of municipalities in 1850 it belonged to the municipality of Kleinnondorf and then came on January 1, 1967 to the large municipality of Grafenschlag.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 24 building areas with 11,712 m² and 9 gardens on 1,653 m² in the cadastral community of Kleingöttfritz , in 1989/1990 there were 30 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 70 and in 2009/2010 there were 35 buildings on 68 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 161 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 321 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 138 hectares and 341 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 131 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 343 hectares. Kleingöttfritz's average soil climate number is 25.3 (as of 2010).
