Klemens Wenzeslaus Franz Blasius Freiherr von Thünefeld (born February 3, 1855 in Bamberg , † May 16, 1913 in Augsburg ) was a landowner and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Thünefeld attended the grammar school at St. Stephan in Augsburg , the Royal Lyceum in Augsburg and the University of Würzburg . He studied law and political science and on April 23, 1894 took over his father's family fideikommißgut Schmiechen . From October 1877 to April 1880 he was a trainee lawyer at the district office and city and regional courts. In May 1880 he passed the examination for the higher judicial and administrative service and from December 1880 to August 1881 he was an intern with the Royal Government of Swabia in Augsburg. From September 1, 1881 to September 30, 1885 he was assessor at the parish church district office in Lower Bavaria and, from April 22, 1896, royal Bavarian chamberlain. In 1901 he was a member of the presidium of the German Catholic Congress in Osnabrück .

From 1898 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Upper Bavaria 6 ( Weilheim , Werdenfels , Bruck , Landsberg , Schongau ) and the German Center Party . The mandate ended with his death.
