Klibanos

The Klibanos (ancient Greek: κλίβανος) was an ancient Greek ceramic form. It was a tub-shaped vessel with a lid in which bread was baked. The bottom was wider than the top. Small holes in the mold made the heat work better on the dough. Klibanoi are only known from literary tradition. They were also mentioned in the Bible.
